Pledge of Allegiance
When considering the Lord our God is a jealous God, and the Lord Jesus Christ has demanded all our allegiance to be His disciple, pledging allegiance to a flag of an earthly nation has always appeared wrong. This was further brought home when attending a community-wide worship gathering, I noticed the majority of men removed their hats for the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag, and then returned their hats for the following prayer.
